An apiary is where honey bees live and make honey. In my opinion, this is the best thing we did in Canada. One of the best days so far:
We started by getting a little lesson on how hives work, the names of the different bees and their job descriptions. We were even able to find the queen bee in all that mess. (Those are the honey bees behind glass.)
Brayden and Riley fed the goats…
then raced rubber duckies down a trough, powered by a water pump.
All the boys raced go-carts around the track…
not all of the boys enjoyed it.
Brayden and Riley found some kittens…
and provided them with good dose of TLC.
Then, it was back to the good old U.S. of A.,
a nostalgic stop at Bob’s Big Boy for dinner,
and a welcome to South Bend, Indiana, where we will be spending most of the day tomorrow. Aric wants to visit the University of Notre Dame and the College Football Hall of Fame.
