240 miles, 4.5 hours driving
Point South, SC to Charleston, SC and Mt. Pleasant, SC. Then proceeded to Florence, SC to stay the night.
June 4
340 miles, 5.5 hours driving
Florence, SC to Darlington, SC (Darlington Raceway) to Fayetteville, NC (Children’s Museum). Then ended up near Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Today, June 5th, we plan on going to visit the Fredericksburg Battle sites, then head up to Mt. Vernon. After that, we will check out the LDS Washington DC temple and its Visitors Center. We will then end up at a campground in Maryland. They have a shuttle that can take us to Washington DC tomorrow.

I L.O.V.E.D my trip to Maryland. You're going to have so much fun seeing these sites. I want to take Matt back someday. Mt. Vernon was amazing. Just drink lots of water. The heat/humidity can be kinda oppressive, huh?
