Rain? In the summer?

We woke up this morning to the pitter patter of raindrops on the roof of the RV. Thankfully, our time in Washington D.C. was up and we were on our way to Baltimore and then Pennsylvania. 15 hours and 1 state later, we are still listening to the pitter patter of raindrops on the roof of the RV.

We drove into downtown Baltimore and right back out again. We did see a couple of interesting things, for you baseball fans: we saw Cal Ripken Way and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Unfortunately, we did not have the camera out as we passed by them, so you’ll just have to take our word for it.

I did manage to get in a few shots of downtown Baltimore:

a Coast Guard ship,

IMG_0008 By the time we got to the campground, the boys had been in the RV all day, either because we were driving or because it was raining and they couldn’t really do anything else. So, once they saw the playground, the fact that it was raining didn’t make a bit of difference.
