80 miles, 2 hours driving
Fredericksburg, Virginia to Mt. Vernon. Then went to the LDS Washington DC temple and its Visitors Center. Stayed at a KOA outside of Washington DC.

Drove to a Metro rail station then took the train to downtown DC. Visited the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial. Then changed to a different campground….called Cherry Hill Park in College Park, MD.
